ABOUT ME
My love for endurance sport all started with cycling, at the ripe young age of 13.
I've enjoyed racing for a few different teams as a semi-professional cyclist and I've won multiple national championships.
At the age of 24, I realised a professional cycling career was not
going to happen. I also had the misfortune of experiencing a
pretty debilitating disc bulge that had me on my back for a
while. After recovering from this, I decided on a whim to
run the Adelaide marathon. And the mental challenge
was vastly different to cycling, I was hooked.
I then coached myself for the next 8 years, gaining a wealth
of knowledge through personal experience but also through
seeking out as much sports science research on endurance
performance I could find.
I've completed
marathons (best time: 2:38)
ultramarathons (Yurrebilla 4:45:09)
and many triathlons,
though placing 34th at the Half Ironman World Championship in 2017, is definitely a highlight.
Despite all that, I’m your everyday person. I understand the challenges of balancing a full time job, family, friends and still training to achieve a feat that most people couldn't imagine doing.
I’m excited to be launching this next part of my journey, helping others achieve their goals and navigate the challenges and fluctuations in motivation that are inevitable along the way. Prioritising balance and taking a holistic approach to coaching, I’m here to take the mental load off your shoulders and support you achieve your biggest goals yet.
